NATO's top decision-making body, the North Atlantic Council, met on 20 December for its last scheduled meeting this year. NATO Ambassadors focused on the situation in the Balkans and, in particular, the tension in and near Kosovo. They discussed ways of reducing violence along the boundary between Serbia and Kosovo, namely in the Presevo Valley, in the south of Kosovo, and in Lepocavic, north of Kosovo, where acts of violence have been committed.
