Mediterranean Dialogue Partner Countries discuss Small Arms and Light Weapons with NATO
On 8-9 October, NATO welcomed at the NATO Headquarters Small Arms and Light Weapons (SALW) experts from the seven MD countries for a two-day Seminar with Allies aimed at promoting regional and bilateral cooperation. The event enabled participating countries to discuss the challenges emanating from the proliferation of Small Arms and Light Weapons in the region and from their illicit trafficking. The Seminar aimed at identifying future avenues of cooperation between NATO and MD countries, in complementarity with other existing international efforts.
