Visit to NATO HQ of an inter-ministerial delegation from the State of Qatar
On 21 March 2014, the NATO Political Affairs and Security Policy Division organised a visit to NATO Headquarters for an inter-ministerial delegation from the State of Qatar to discuss the development of an Individual Partnership and Cooperation Programme (IPCP) between NATO and Qatar.
The group met with Mr. Nicola de Santis, Head, Middle East and North Africa Countries Section in NATO’s Political Affairs and Security Policy Division, and with senior officials from various Divisions in the International Staff and the International Military Staff to discuss details of future cooperation under the Individual Partnership and Cooperation Programme.
The visit to NATO HQ concluded with a visit at the Euro-Atlantic Disaster Response Coordination Centre (EADRCC), where the group received a briefing by Mr. Guenter Bretschneider, Head, Civil Emergence Planning Outreach Section, Operations Division.
