Visit to NATO by the Prime Minister of Japan

The Prime Minister of Japan, Mr. Shinzo Abe, will visit NATO Headquarters on Tuesday 6 May 2014. He will meet with the NATO Secretary General, Mr. Anders Fogh Rasmussen, and will address the North Atlantic Council.

Building on the Political Declaration signed in April 2013 in Tokyo, the Prime Minister and the Secretary General will sign a document launching an Individual Partnership and Cooperation Programme between NATO and Japan.

The NAC opening remarks and the joint press point will be web streamed live on the NATO website in original language and English, and will be available live on satellite also in original language and English.
