''The right to choose''
On April 1, 2014, NATO celebrates the fifth anniversary of the accession of Albania and Croatia to the Alliance. In March, NATO celebrated the tenth anniversary of the accession of Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia, and the fifteenth anniversary of the accession of the Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland.
To mark these anniversaries, Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen has published an op-ed entitled “The right to choose”, which has been translated into 13 languages across NATO. The English version appears here.
