NATO helps to strengthen Moldova’s military medical capacity NATO has delivered military medical equipment worth 700,000 euros to the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Moldova, through the NATO-led Defence Capacity Building Package for Moldova. It was financed through contributions from Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Turkiyë, and the United Kingdom and implemented by NATO’s Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA). The delivery was marked at a ceremony organised by Moldova’s Ministry of Defence, on Thursday (25 April 2024), in Chisinau. |

Dr Stein, who currently leads the Signatorics Department at the Fraunhofer Institute of Optronics, System Technologies and Image Exploitation in Karlsruhe, Germany, is the first woman to receive the Medal. Her career is a testament to the importance and value of women’s leadership and their role in advancing scientific research. |
