Opening remarks
by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg at the Meeting of the North Atlantic Council with Resolute support Operational Partner Nations and Potential Operational Partner Nations

So good afternoon.
And welcome to all of you.
NATO’s mission in Afghanistan remains a top priority.
We strongly support the US-led efforts to achieve peace in Afghanistan.
The best way NATO can support the peace efforts is to continue training, assisting and advising the Afghan security forces.
With our Resolute Support Mission and with financial support.
Our support has steadily strengthened the Afghan forces.
Despite the challenges, they show great courage and commitment.
So we are determined to continue to support Afghanistan.
And the Afghan security forces, as they fight terrorism and create the conditions for peace.
