NATO Secretary General welcomes the President of the European Commission at NATO Headquarters
NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen met with the President of the European Commission José Manuel Durão Barroso on Monday, 11 February 2013 at NATO Headquarters.
The meeting was part of the regular dialogue between NATO and the European Union and an opportunity for the NATO Secretary General and Mr. Barroso to discuss issues of common interest.
The Secretary General and Mr. Barroso discussed cooperation between the two institutions, including support for Afghanistan and the preparation of the December 2013 European Council on Defence issues.
