Press briefing

The NATO Spokesperson, Mrs. Oana Lungescu, will hold a briefing on the deployment of Patriot Missiles to Turkey at 13h30 on Wednesday 23 January 2013 in Luns Room (NATO HQ).

She will be accompanied by Brigadier General Gary Deakin, Director of SHAPE Strategic Operations Center and other experts from the Allied Command – Operations (ACO/SHAPE).

The press conference will be webstreamed live on NATO’s website.

Photos, videos and audio files from NATO will be available after the event on the NATO website and via the TV/Radio unit (see contact details below).

Accreditation

Media representatives holding a 2012 or 2013 permanent NATO media pass will have access as for a Ministerial Meeting.

Media representatives not in possession of a 2012 or 2013 NATO media pass and wishing to attend the event are invited to request accreditation directly at the main entrance of the NATO Headquarters, on 23 January, starting from 12h30.

They will have to present an ID and a valid press card (provided by a recognised national professional body of a NATO country – i.e. Government, Professional association, Union….).

Those media representatives not having a valid press card (as listed previously) are invited to send a signed letter from their editor to NATO Press and Media Service, not later than Wednesday 23 January- 09h00 (fax +32.2707.1399; email: press@hq.nato.int ).
