Secretary General to visit Norway
The Secretary General of NATO, Mr. Anders Fogh Rasmussen, will travel to Oslo on 5-6 November 2009. He will hold meetings with Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg, Foreign Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, Minister of Defence Grethe Faremo, as well as the President of the Parliament Mr. Dag Terje Andersen and members of the Standing Committee on Foreign and Defence Affairs and the Norwegian Delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.
The Secretary General will also be received by His Majesty King Harald V.
On Friday 6 November, the Secretary General will attend the “Army Summit 09” at the Askershus Fortress, including a demonstration by the Special Forces and the Telemark Battalion.
