Information

The Polish Prime Minister, Mr. Wlodzimierz Cimoszewicz, will visit NATO Headquarters on Friday, 21 February. He will meet the Secretary General, Dr. Javier Solana, and Permanent Representatives on the North Atlantic Council. The visit will begin at 9:00. Prime Minister Cimoszewicz's departure is expected at 10:45.

MEDIA ADVISORY   Programme of the Visit

8:55 : NATO main entrance. Arrival of Mr. Cimoszewicz. Open coverage on a first-come, first-served basis.

9:00 : Meeting with Secretary General in the Private Office. In view of the limited space available, only a restricted pool will be authorized to cover the beginning of the meeting.

9:30 : Room 1: North Atlantic Council session. Introductory remarks by the Secretary General,followed by reply by Prime Minister Cimoszewicz. Coverage of the beginning of the meeting by a restricted pool.

10:35 : NATO main entrance. Meeting with the press. Departure of the Prime Minister of Poland at around 10:45. Open coverage.

Accreditation

Journalists wishing to cover the visit of the Polish Prime Minister will be allowed into the NATO premises on presentation of a NATO accreditation pass or a valid press pass. Photographers and cameramen wishing to be part of the Restricted Pool should contact Mr. B. Van de Voorde.
