The first NATO-Afghan Student Forum will take place at NATO Headquarters on 21-23 September 2006. Nine Afghan students from Kabul University and fourty European students will join this three-day programme aimed at enhancing mutual understanding and exchanging personal experiences and views on global security issues in general and on NATO’s mission in Afghanistan in particular.
Media are invited to attend the meeting with the NATO Deputy Secretary General, Ambassador Minuto Rizzo, at 16.30 hrs on Thursday 21 September 2006, in room Brosio. Interviews with the students can be arranged during the seminar.
