NATO Secretary General to visit Bulgaria

The Secretary General of NATO, Lord Robertson, will give an opening speech at the Summit on the Contribution of New Democracies to Euro-Atlantic Security, taking place in Sofia on Thursday, 4 and Friday, 5 October 2001.

On this occasion, Lord Robertson will also meet with the President of Bulgaria, H.E. Petar Stoyanov, the Prime minister H.E. Simeon Saxe-Coburg Gotha as well as with the Heads of State of the Vilnius group.

9:20: Arrival at the National History Museum where the Summit on the Contribution of New Democracies to Euro-Atlantic Security takes place
9:40: Opening statement by the Secretary General of NATO, Lord Robertson, as special guest speaker
12:00 12:30: The Secretary General of NATO, Lord Robertson, and the Head of State of the Vilnius group will hold a press conference the conference will include remarks from H.E. President Stoyanov and Lord Robertson venue: National History Museum
