NATO Deputy Secretary General to visit Finland

On Thursday, 29 August 2019, the NATO Deputy Secretary General, Ms. Rose Gottemoeller, will participate in the informal meeting of defence ministers of the European Union in Helsinki, Finland.
During her visit, Ms. Gottemoeller will have bilateral meetings with the President of Finland, Mr. Sauli Niinistö and the Minister of Defence, Mr. Antti Kaikkonen.
The Deputy Secretary General will also deliver a speech on disruptive technology and NATO’s efforts to keep our technological edge at the Finnish Institute of International Affairs. This event will be hosted by the Estonian Embassy, which serves as NATO Contact Point Embassy in Finland.
There will be no media opportunity.
