The ATC aims to bring together experts from the NATO Science & Technology Organization Centre for Maritime Research and Experimentation (CMRE) and the Ministry of National Defence of Tunisia to discuss about Modelling & Simulation (M&S) in the maritime domain. This ATC represents the first step of a long-term cooperation which is structured according the following plan: Phase 1: preliminary information and technology transfer and analysis of the current status; Phase 2: support to the Tunisian Navy for the renew of the M&S based training capability. As a final long-term objective, this ATC will improve training capabilities and strengthen maritime security of Tunisia and neighbor countries.
