NATO Secretary General to travel to Japan

The NATO Secretary General, Mr. Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, will visit Tokyo from 12 to 14 December. He will meet with Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda , with Minister for Foreign Affairs Mr. Masahiko Komura, with Minister of Defence Mr. Shigeru Ishiba and with members of the Japanese Parliament.

The Secretary General will also address the Japanese Institute for International Affairs (JIIA) and students at the Keio University.
