NATO Secretary General to visit Japan
The NATO Secretary General, Mr. Jens Stoltenberg, will visit Japan on Monday, 30 October and Tuesday, 31 October 2017.
In Tokyo, the Secretary General will meet with the Prime Minister, H.E. Mr. Shinzo Abe; the Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Mr. Taro Kono and the Minister of Defence, H.E. Mr. Itsunori Onodera.
On 30 October, the Secretary General will engage in discussion with security experts at an event hosted by the Sasakawa Peace Foundation.
On 31 October, Mr. Stoltenberg will visit a base of Japan’s Maritime Self-Defense Forces in Yokosuka.
Later that day, Mr. Stoltenberg will deliver a speech at the Japan National Press Club in Tokyo.
