The NATO Secretary General visits Clyde Naval Base in Scotland
The NATO Secretary General, Mr. Jens Stoltenberg is visiting Her Majesty’s Naval Base Clyde (HMNB) at Faslane, Scotland, today, 29 September 2017, together with the 29 Permanent Representatives on the North Atlantic Council and the 29 members of NATO’s Military Committee, at the invitation of Sir Michael Fallon, the United Kingdom Secretary of State for Defence.
The visit includes a tour of a UK Vanguard class deterrent submarine, a training facility and a Royal Navy frigate.
