On Wednesday, 22 March 2017 and Thursday, 23 March 2017, the North Atlantic Council (NAC) chaired by NATO Deputy Secretary General, Ms. Rose Gottemoeller, will visit Budapest to attend the NATO Transformation Seminar 2017.

On 22 March, Ms. Gottemoeller will address the participants during the opening session of the Seminar.

The Deputy Secretary General will also deliver a speech at the Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade entitled “Adapting to a More Dangerous World”, followed by a Q&A session.

Organized every year by the Allied Command Transformation, the NATO Transformation Seminar represents a unique opportunity for the Deputy Secretary General, Permanent Representatives, Chairman of the NATO Military Committee, Military Representatives and Strategic Commanders to discuss the strategic challenges that NATO will likely face over the near to long term. The Seminar will be chaired by the NATO Supreme Allied Commander Transformation (SACT), General Denis Mercier. More details about the event are available at http://www.act.nato.int/nato-transformation-seminar.
