NATO Secretary General to visit the Netherlands
NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen will travel to The Hague on Thursday, 30 January 2014.
The Secretary General will have an audience with His Majesty King Willem-Alexander. He will also meet with the Dutch Prime Minister, Mr. Mark Rutte, the Foreign Minister, Mr. Frans Timmermans, the Minister of Defence, Ms. Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert, and other parliamentary and high level officials.
Mr. Rasmussen will also meet with the former NATO Secretary General, Mr. Jaap de Hoop Scheffer.
The Secretary General will deliver a keynote speech at the University of Leiden entitled “Defence matters”.
