NATO Secretary General to visit United Kingdom

The Secretary General of NATO, Mr. Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, will pay a farewell visit to London on Monday, 20 July 2009.

During his visit, the Secretary General will meet the Prime Minister, The Rt Hon Gordon Brown, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, The Rt Hon David Miliband and the Secretary of State for Defence, The Rt Hon. Bob Ainsworth.

The Secretary General will also give a keynote speech at  Chatham House.
