NATO Deputy Secretary General to visit Germany
NATO Deputy Secretary General, Ms. Rose Gottemoeller will travel to Berlin on Thursday, 26 and Friday, 27 September 2019.
On 26 September, Ms. Gottemoeller will deliver a keynote address at an event by RAND Europe /German Marshall Fund (GMF) of the United States entitled “Security Through Deterrence: A Need for New Vision”. She will also participate in a high-level roundtable discussion hosted by the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP).
On 27 September, the Deputy Secretary General has been invited by the Foreign Policy Chairpersons of the Parliamentary Groups of CDU/CSU and SPD for a conversation with the relevant Members of Parliament in charge of Foreign and Defence Affairs of both groups at the German Bundestag.
During her visit she will also have meetings with high level officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Defence.
