New NATO Headquarters Revised design Staff centre Background New NATO Headquarters - Revised design The Industrial Infrastructure building is located at the north of the site and built along the east-west axis. It is situated close to the service entrance. Location of the Staff centre The staff centre has been relocated to the north of the site. The facility is to be used by the NATO staff and authorised visitors. In the first instance, it is accessible from the interior of the site on the axis of the Agora via a pedestrian walkway; in the second, it is accessible from the outside of the site (though the North gate on Chaussée de Haecht) via a pedestrian and vehicular access point. The centre is a single building combining different activities, including: Indoor sports courts Swimming pool Bowling Alley Children's Holiday camp facilities Brasserie restaurant/ banquet room External spaces are arranged in a spirit of relaxation and greenery.They include: the visitors carpark with bus parking sports grounds play grounds for the children View of the Pool View of the Brasserie Source: SOM + ASSAR
