Reminder Foreign Ministers Meeting Madrid - 3-4 June 2003 1. Information Meetings at Foreign Ministers level of the North Atlantic Council (NAC) and between NATO Foreign Ministers and the Foreign Ministers of Partner Countries will be held in Madrid on 3 – 4 June. The Palacio Municipal de Congresos, at the Campo de las Naciones, is the venue where working sessions are going to be held. The Media Centre will be located in the same building. 2. Accreditation A “JPG” ID card format photograph must be attached to the
request for accreditation form, which must be duly filled out and returned
before Tuesday, 27 May 2003; Media accreditation request:: see form in Annex I (.PDF/28Kb)
3. Media centre Television and radio booths will be available upon prior request to the
host broadcasters: TVE (Televisión Española) and RNE (Radio
Nacional de España). 4. News conferences and press briefings All press conferences and briefings will take place at the Palacio Municipal de Congresos. 5. Transport - parking - visas Metro or taxi are advised for transportation to and from the Airport. The main road with access to the Campo de las Naciones, where the Palacio Municipal de Congresos is located, is the M-40 ring road. There will be no parking facilities in areas adjacent to the Media Centre. 6. Accommodation Viajes El Corte Inglés S.A. is the travel agency in charge of
managing the reservations for the hotels selected by the Organization
of the North Atlantic Council Ministerial Meeting. The hotels allocated
to the Media are: Hotel Abba Castilla Plaza****, Hotel Silken Puerta de
Castilla**** and Hotel Meliá Castilla****. Reservation form for hotel rooms: see Annex II (.PDF/27Kb)
7. Payment Method of payment shall be Bank Transfer, or Credit Card (Visa, Master Card, Amex, Diners Club and El Corte Inglés card). 8. Programme and pools The final programme for the meetings will be handed out at the time when media passes are issued. 9. Additional information
