- Pool Passes
Requests for pool cards should be made in writing when checking in at the accreditation desk no later than 18:00 on Tuesday, 27 May 1997.
Due to the limited space, some media events can only be covered on a pool basis. Pool passes for these events will be distributed on an equitable basis at the accreditation desk from 15:00 hours on Wednesday, 28 May 1997.
- Transport
As parking facilities at the Media Centre are limited a shuttle service between the Media Centre and the designated hotels where media representatives are accommodated will be organized on 29-30 May.
Media representatives should use their own means of transportation to and from the airport.
A car park for press vehicles will be available in Via B (200 metres from the Media Centre), inside the Penha Longa Resort. Vehicle passes for this car park (colour: green) will be issued at the accreditation desk in Media Centre from 14:00 on 26 May.
A limited parking area will be provided for television cars and satellite dishes near the Media Centre. Vehicle passes for this car park (colour: white) will be issued at the accreditation desk in the Media Centre from 14:00 on May 26.
Television crews, wire services and radio stations with bulky equipment are allowed to unload next to the Media Centre and to park in Via B. Apart from the green pass, an extra pass for these vehicles (colour: white/black) will be issued at the accreditation desk in the Media Centre from 14:00 on 26 May.
Departures from hotels to Media Centre on 29 and 30 May:
from 07:00 to 8:30 - shuttle services every 30 minutes
Departures from Media Centre to hotels on 29 and 30 May:
from 18:00 to 24:00 - shuttle services every 60 minutes
