Combined Services Entertainment, a group established to assist in the promotion of morale for members of the United Kingdom Armed Forces, brought Kid Creole and the Coconuts, a dance and song group, to most of the UK units in Theatre. From November 20-30, Kid Creole and the Coconuts performed in ten different shows. In the early 1980s the group had a succession of hits in the United States. They were also quite popular in the UK. Since the soldiers could not go to Kid Creole and the Coconuts, Combined Services brought Kid Creole and the Coconuts to them. The group performed in bases such as Split, Banja Luka, Glamoc and Camp Butmir. CSE has put on two other shows during the year.
