Facing
the razor sharp mountains on the firing range of Macipolje the companies
of the Spanish Battle Group of Mostar spent a whole day training hard
in honing their combat skills.
The day started with static assault riffle firing and soon moved to very
mobile, very effective infantry attacks as soldiers poured out of BMR
M1s (APCs) and fired at targets in progression.
Then
BMRs then made sweeping passes in front of the targets as the soldiers
posted on the vehicle's gun positions opened fire.
The exercise ended with the firing at 500 meters of the APCs 12.7 mm hydraulic
gun turret.
