The Mines Information Co-ordination Cell (MICC) is a part of HQ SFOR Engineer Branch - Counter Mines and Explosive Ordnance Disposal Department. The MICC is located in a Tito Barracks in Sarajevo, in the same area as the Mine Action Centre of Bosnia and Hercegovina (MAC BiH).

Ilidza bunkers down for hand over to local authorities
 

As Camp Butmir became the new headquarters location for SFOR, the Ilidza camp looks like a ghost town. The hundreds of containers have vanished, and the only reminder of the three years spent in that camp and the concrete bunkers that tow.

History repeats itself at Bosanska Otoka
 

By mid-June, the 1st Field Troop began construction of a pontoon footbridge designed by Sergeant Chris Atkinson, the Troop RECCE Sergeant. A total of 17 pontoons were needed to cross the river.

Ilovice M-J Bridge inspected recently
 

According to the logistics plan of the HQ SFOR Engineer Branch, the bridge inspection of the Mabey-Johnson (M-J) SFOR Bridge took place in Ilovice on July 26. The inspection was performed by a Romanian Engineer detachment in the theatre under the command of the HQ SFOR Chief Engineer.

Every military camp needs a good guard. In Sarajevo's Camp Butmir, the Turkish Army carries out this task. Turks control the access to the camp, provide an emergency rapid reaction force, and ensure the observation capability in and around the Butmir compound.

Portuguese Army trains with American helicopters on air operations

British tank regiment performs live-fire demonstration

What life is like in the Russian Battle Group
 

Russian camp is established on both sides of a small river and connected by a suspended footbridge. Buildings already existed there, and they have only had to be restored. The only building they made themselves is a small wooden Orthodox chapel.
