Sokolac - Bosnia and Hercegovina, March 28, 1998. U.S. Marines of the 26th MEU (left) and paratroopers of the 18th Polish Airborne Battalion carry out joint patrolling in the town of Sokolac. A short distance up the road, the Turkish 3rd Mechanised Infantry Coy was providing route security. Meanwhile in southern Bosnia and Hercegovina, Italian, Netherlands and Romanian troops were carrying out similar joint operations as part of Dynamic Response '98.

Sokolac - Bosnia and Hercegovina, March 28, 1998. Commander of the SFOR, Gen. Eric K. Shinseki meets with Bosnian Serb Army (VRS) officers and SFOR officer and soldiers at the Landing Zone during multinational exercising of his Strategic Reserve Force. The group was walking to a nearby location where U.S. Marines and Italian dentists were setting up a field dental surgery to give treatment to local people.
