The Romanians are currently preparing for joint route reconnaissance and security operations with the Dutch 1st Mariner Battalion.

Mostar-Ortijes, March 27. U.S. Marines from Anglico Detachment, North Carolina augmenting the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit work at setting up their equipment as Lt. Nica Laurentiu, Chief of the Romanian Communications Team looks on. "The Americans are great," said Laurentiu. "We showed each other our equipment and are already showing that our interoperability is good as we work together to provide communications for our troops."

March 27. An Italian Milan team of the San Marco Battalion carries out training in Vrapcici near Mostar. These marines will begin route reconnaissance around the area of Jablanica, March 28 and some units will join with Romanian troops to conduct patrols and reconnaissance in the south of Bosnia and Hercegovina the following day.
