Helpful Hints

The NATO World Wide Web pages are designed with a width of 650 pixels to be printed out correctly on US Letter size and European A4-size paper.

NATO's pages have been tuned for Microsoft Internet Explorer (3.x - 6.x), but should display correct on most other browsers and platforms.

Portable Document Format (.PDF) pdf

To preserve their original lay-out certain documents are made available in Adobe Portable Document Format (.PDF) A free viewer can be downloaded via the Internet.

Logos and high resolution photos photo

The use of NATO photos and logo is allowed for non-commercial purposes with clear mentioning of NATO as the source. Most NATO photos can be downloaded in high resolution (2000x1500 pixels; 300 dpi) to be printed in newspapers and magazines.

Due to the size of these files (approx. 500Kb) we recommend downloading the files (right-click with the mouse on the file size and choose "Save Target as...) instead of viewing them directly within your browser..
