NRC military representatives meet in Brussels
Logistics cooperation in areas such as water generation is one of six areas of military activities that take place in the NRC
On 2 May, the military representatives of the NATO-Russia Council met in Brussels. Their meeting provided an excellent opportunity to take stock of ongoing military to military cooperation in the NRC. Military representatives also engaged in preparations for the upcoming NRC Chiefs of Defence meeting in Brussels, due to be held on 14 May.
The 29 Chiefs of Defence of NRC nations generally meet twice a year. A key part of their dialogue focuses on taking stock of the progress made on NRC military to military activities in the six agreed areas of cooperation: logistics, combating terrorism, search and rescue at sea, counter piracy, military academic exchanges and theatre missile defence/missile defence.
