15th annual NATO Run in Budapest includes virtual run for the first time

On 18 October 2020, the 15th edition of the NATO Run organised by the Budapest Athletic Federation took place in Budapest. The NATO Run has been co-sponsored by NATO’s Public Diplomacy Division since its creation, and has raised awareness about NATO 2030 among more than 5,000 participants of all ages from various countries. The 2020 edition paid a special tribute to the heroes and victims of the COVID-19 pandemic and included an innovative new element – a virtual run – allowing participants from around the world to join the running festival and complete the run remotely.
