Mon Tue Wed Thu Fri Sat Sun 14 June 15 June 16 June 17 June 18 June           12 June 13 June Humanitarian Aid The Euro-Atlantic Disaster Response Centre (EADRCC) was opened at NATO Headquarters by NATO Secretary General Javier Solana on 3 June 1998. Established in the framework of the Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council (EAPC) on the basis of a proposal made by Russia, the Centre is the focal point for information -sharing among EAPC countries when emergency situations occur. It plays a key role both in processing requests for assistance and in coordinating offers received from EAPC countries in response. Since it opened, the EADRCC has acted on many occasions to provide different forms of assistance to EAPC countries. In particular, it has participated in coordinating the international response to the crisis caused by the influx of refugees from Kosovo into Albania in June 1998, the flooding in Western Ukraine in November 1998, the major Kosovar refugee crisis in 1999, and the recent Turkish and Greek earthquake situations.
