ISAF soldier killed in southern Afghanistan

KABUL, Afghanistan - An International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) soldier was killed today after an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) attack in southern Afghanistan.

“With sadness, we inform you of the death of this brave soldier, and offer our deep condolences to the soldier's family and friends,” said Brigadier-General Richard Blanchette, ISAF Spokesperson.  “This soldier's dedication to the security and safety of others will be honoured and remembered.”
