ISAF forces help an Afghan child in Helmand

KABUL, Afghanistan - At midday 10 November, a local girl from the vicinity of Nahr-e-Sarraj in Helmand was bought to an ISAF base for medical treatment after falling into a fire and suffering serious burns.

When she arrived at the base, she had burns to her face and left arm, and she could not open her eyes.

ISAF troops cooled her burns with cold water and cleaned and dressed her wounds. She was then taken by ISAF helicopter to a larger ISAF hospital for further medical treatment
