Two ISAF soldiers die, one wounded in Paktika


KABUL, Afghanistan - Two ISAF soldiers died and one was wounded in Paktika province today when their patrol struck an IED.

“I would like to offer our sincere condolences to the families and friends of our fallen soldiers,” said British Royal Navy Captain Michael Finney, ISAF spokesperson. “The focus right now is to look after the soldier’s family and colleagues and to provide them the best possible support during this difficult time.”

It is ISAF policy to not release the nationality of any casualty prior to the relevant national authority doing so.
