Two ISAF soldiers die, 10 receive wounds in Paktika

KABUL, Afghanistan - Two ISAF soldiers died and 10 received wounds while on patrol in Paktika province of Afghanistan today.

“Our thoughts and sincere condolences are with the family and friends of the brave soldiers who were killed today,” said Brigadier General Carlos Branco, ISAF spokesperson. “These soldiers died and were wounded trying to help bring peace and security for the Afghan people.”

In accordance with ISAF policy, ISAF does not release the casualty’s nationality prior to the relevant national authority doing so.
