2 ISAF soldiers die, 1 soldier and 1 local national wounded in eastern Afghanistan

KABUL, Afghanistan – Two ISAF soldiers died, and one soldier and one local national were wounded while on patrol in eastern Afghanistan.  

“One can appreciate that this is a very difficult time right now and our thoughts and sincere condolences are with the family and friends of the brave soldiers who were killed today,” said Brigadier General Carlos Branco, ISAF spokesperson. “These soldiers died and were wounded trying to help bring peace and security for the Afghan people.”

In accordance with ISAF policy, ISAF does not release the casualty’s nationality prior to the relevant national authority doing so.
