ISAF vet makes village call

ISAF soldiers provide medical treatment to animals in Molla Abdullah Kariz village, Kandahar province, Saturday.

KABUL, Afghanistan – ISAF soldiers, including an ISAF veterinarian, conducted a veterinary assistance mission in Molla Abdullah Kariz village, Kandahar province, Saturday 17 May.

Soldiers set up a clinic to provide professional veterinary services in the area which doesn’t have access to routine veterinary assistance.

Due to the remoteness of the village, the majority of the villagers rely heavily on their livestock. During the clinic a large number of cows, goats, sheep and dogs were treated.
