Two ISAF soldiers die, one wounded in southern Afghanistan

KABUL, Afghanistan (Jan. 13) – Two ISAF soldiers were killed and another one wounded during operations in southern Afghanistan Jan. 12.

“We have the utmost respect and admiration for the ISAF troops who operate in this challenging environment,” said Wing Commander Antony McCord, ISAF Regional Command South Spokesman. “Our thoughts are with the families, friends and colleagues of those who have died or been wounded during this operation."

In accordance with ISAF policy, ISAF does not release the casualties’ nationality prior to the relevant national authority doing so.
