One ISAF soldier dies,
one injured in southern Afghanistan

KABUL, Afghanistan – One ISAF soldier died and another was injured when their vehicle was involved in a mine strike in southern Afghanistan today.

“Our thoughts are now with the friends and families of those who have died or been injured in today's incident,” said Wing Commander Antony McCord, ISAF Regional Command South Spokesman.

In accordance with ISAF policy, ISAF does not release the casualty’s nationality prior to the relevant national authority doing so.
