ISAF hosts Ramazan dinner with maleks

KABUL, Afghanistan – ISAF’s Regional Command Capital officials hosted a dinner as a part of Ramazan in Camp Dogan recently for the maleks—tribal chieftans—and shura members who live in Khud Hill.

The commander of RC-Capital said the dinner was a good opportunity for local and international communities to get together.

“We should take advantage of every opportunity to come together and discuss our problems to make a better aid effort for Afghanistan,” said Brig. Gen. Kasım Erdem, RC-C commander.

Besides Ramazan, the participants discussed security and its coordination between ISAF and officials from the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.

The participants said they were pleased with the Turkish Task Force Command and thanked them for all the Civil-Military Cooperation projects.
