Two ISAF soldiers killed in an accident in southern Afghanistan

Kabul, Afghanistan – Two ISAF soldiers have been killed in southern Afghanistan when the vehicle they were travelling in was involved in an accident. No enemy forces were involved.

“Our thoughts are with the families and friends of the soldiers who died today,” said Wg Cdr Antony McCord, a spokesman for Regional Command South. “Losing one soldier is always one too many. Our fellow comrades will be missed.”

In accordance with ISAF policy, ISAF does not release the casualty’s nationality prior to the relevant national authority doing so.
