ISAF soldiers killed in southern Afghanistan

KABUL, Afghanistan – Three ISAF soldiers have been killed and two others injured while on operations in southern Afghanistan on Aug. 23.

“All ISAF troops continue to work in difficult, dangerous and challenging conditions, and do so with the utmost professionalism.” said Lt. Col. Bridget Rose, a spokesperson for Regional Command South, "The death of these soldiers is keenly felt, and our thoughts are with the family, friends and colleagues of those who tragically died today.”

In accordance with ISAF policy, ISAF does not release the casualty’s nationality prior to the relevant national authority doing so
