Afghan, ISAF forces bring medical care to Sangin

SANGIN, Afghanistan – A joint ISAF and Afghan National Army medical clinic held here July 17 treated more than 350 people.

“I am very happy to see the ANA supported by ISAF helping the people of Sangin in such a way,” said Governor Isatullah.

ANA medical personnel led the clinic, which was mentored by ISAF troops.  They assessed and provided basic medical care to residents of Sangin and outlying areas.

“This is the first of many such clinics,” said Capt. Andy Wagner, logistical support team.  “The ANA and ISAF are delivering basic medical care and advice to the people of Sangin, directly improving their quality of life.”
