ISAF soldier killed in Southern Afghanistan

KANDAHAR, Afghanistan – Earlier today, an ISAF soldier died in Southern Afghanistan during an engagement with enemy fighters.

Major General Jacko Page, Commander, Regional Command South said: “Our thoughts are with the family, friends and colleagues of the soldier who died today. This tragic loss will be felt right across the multi-national taskforce.”

In accordance with NATO policy, ISAF does not release a casualty’s nationality prior to the relevant national authority doing so.
