Medical donation in Surobi

KABUL, Afghanistan – On Tuesday, during a ceremony, Regional Command-Capital’s Turkish Battle Group donated $700,000 worth of medicine to the Surobi District Hospital.

The medicine consisted of analgesics, antibiotics, and stomach drugs.

“We thank you for coming to help this far away and poor district. We will use this medicine for the poor people of Surobi,” said Gul Muhammed, head of the hospital, to Col. Hayder Ates, the RC-C deputy commander, during the ceremony.

To date, the Turkish Battle Group has donated approximately $1.6 million worth of medicine.
