ISAF team provides aid in Yosuf Khel

KABUL, Afghanistan - ISAF’s Polish Battle Group delivered more than 800 kilograms of supplies and aid to the people of Yosuf Khel district in Paktika province on 14 July.

The Polish soldiers gave away food, oil, farming tools, carpentry tools, clothing, shoes and toys for the children.

“When we started to give away our shipment, the Afghans formed a very long line. You should see the joy on their faces when they were carrying their gifts,” said Polish Captain Piotr Marszalek.

The soldiers were members of the 3rd Civil-Military Cooperation (CIMIC) Tactical Support Team. CIMIC teams are responsible for building relationships between ISAF, local authorities and the Afghan people.
