Allied Force Command Heidelberg celebrates holidays with dinner/dance event
Allied Force Command Heidelberg convened for its annual Holiday Reception Wednesday, December 5th at the Patrick Henry Village Pavilion. The ballroom was packed with members of the command, all dressed for an evening of fellowship, food, and dance. Seasonal decorations adorned each table and stage, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere.

Christmas, a time for fellowship and festivities
The feeling of Christmas filled the air as Allied Force Command Heidelberg service members and their families celebrated the holiday season. The headquarters’ Santa Claus event was held at Campbell Barracks December 3rd and would be the last before the unit’s deactivation.
Allied Force Command Heidelberg recognized for OUP contributions
Fourteen Allied Force Command Heidelberg members were recognized for their participation in Operation Unified Protector during an awards ceremony here. Each received the NATO Non-Article 5 Medal for service while augmenting the Combined Joint Task Force Unified Protector Headquarters in Naples, Italy during the last four months of the operation.

The Force Command Heidelberg italian community organised a lottery during the Family Fest in order to help the charity "Die Waldpiraten" Camp ("The Pirates of the Forest"), a member of the German Childhood Cancer Foundation, based on Paul Newman's "The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp" near Hartford, Connecticut (USA) and "The Barretstown Camp" (IRL).

Conference Objective: Land Command Transition
An important step was taken Aug. 22nd toward the eventual transition of land competency from Force Command Heidelberg (FCHD) and Force Command Madrid (FCMD) to a Land Command in Izmir, Turkey.

Senior enlisted advisor says farewell

NATO Spouses Club President Hedwig Huybrechts, along with other NSC members, donates a 1,000 euro check to Wohnoase of Wiesloch, an institution to help physical or mental disabled and their families, Jan. 31. This is an annual event, one of many in which NSC members donate time and money to charities.
